Guerilla Gardening -Seattle
On my walk back to my apartment from the postoffice in Capitol Hill/Seattle I found a garden. Situated in an open space on the other side of a parking lot. LOVE IT! GO SEATTLE. THERE SHOULD BE NO LAWN (in the traditional sense). WHY in the WORLD should we have a lawn that requires chemicals.......... to be green?
Repeat after me "NO LAWN--PLANT GARDENS--NO LAWN--PLANT GARDENS"

DICK's of SEATTLE!--COMPOSTING!
Gotta LOVE the fact that a fast food restaurant is composting and recycling ALL of their waste. They don't even have a container marked 'trash' anymore! Dick's Drive-In Restaurant! COMPOST THIS totally approves what you doing!! Oh and I have to say that the real-deal potato fries are not only hot but really good!

You become a member of the program and then you can rent the bike! It comes with a cool heavy duty basket and a lock! Read about the RED BIKE PROGRAM HERE! HOW COOL IS THAT! I love this idea. WE NEED IT IN SEATTLE. Dang..........if Denver can do

The exterior of the toliet is made out of manure as well.........a composite!! I have my friend Teppei to thank for sharing this video with me! Thanks Teppei!
Betcha' didn't know that you can buy all of these toliets (with the notable exception of the Loo Watt) on Amazon.com! I wonder if they qualify for free shipping? Click on the image above for more details!Thursday, August 05, 2010
