Guerilla Gardening -Seattle

On Guerrilla Gardening: A Handbook for Gardening Without BoundariesGuerrilla Gardening: A Manualfesto  Guerrilla Gardening: How to Create Gorgeous Gardens for Free
On my walk back to my apartment from the postoffice in Capitol Hill/Seattle I found a garden. Situated in an open space on the other side of a parking lot. LOVE IT! GO SEATTLE. THERE SHOULD BE NO LAWN (in the traditional sense). WHY in the WORLD should we have a lawn that requires chemicals.......... to be green?
Repeat after me "NO LAWN--PLANT GARDENS--NO LAWN--PLANT GARDENS"

  1. There are vegetables planted between the drive-thru driveway and the alley fence at my BANK!! Woohoo -- go Homestreet Bank! Also, in front, instead of patches of ivy, they have raised veggie beds! Sweeeeet! I love the NW.
